and trivial pursuit, which, a french-canadian friend remarked, is extremely americanized trivia. makes sense i suppose, if it's manufactured in the u.s. for u.s. players, but, if you're from canada, maybe not so fun.
the winning card, the winning roll, the winning pie... and may i just remark, that one of us won based on a sports question... for the loser's sake, i will refrain from bragging anymore than that. (an interesting note: the answer was wayne gretzky... a canadian!)

Hey R & G, your blog is most excellent. Soothing, like a soft breeze on a warm night. Awesomely enough I made strawberry compote with waffles this very morning, scientists say it looks like a juicy strawberry season this year. Blog on!
