hijacked (by greg!)

Hooray. We decided to do the stupidest thing in the world and run a marathon. Really it's stupid. It hurts everywhere, and even your brain hurts; when you're on mile 22 your mind tells you things, incessantly, and it speaks with your footfalls.

but surprisingly we're as happy before as after, and vice versa.

(above) That's Nic. He's a loser.
(below) see?

know why he looks so guilty?
he ate a whole field of cabbages!

(above) dumbfounded workers...

consequentially traffic was stopped for days...
(that's why they call him pump'n'munch)

and in evanston...

aaaa!

wait wait... this is all wrong. the birthday party was on saturday, and the marathon was on sunday. but anyhow, shove on

it was a conglomerate party. everyone advanced in age. especially Jason. just kidding, we like to tell him that he's old, but he's actually pretty young. despite the mustache.
ack!
ack! ack!

you can see that as a family we severely neglect our eyebrows

It was our birthday. Like I was saying. It is pretty cool to share a birthday with somebody, because then you don't have to be so embarassed about all the uproar, not that this is embarassing.

hi gramma!
okay, so aparently this blog is full of pictures of me. well, in my defense, Regan picked all the photos and posted them and then asked me to fill in the commentary.

my birthday was pretty awesome. holy crap that's a lot of presents!

(below) everybody got their own personal miniature cake!

uh oh... woof alert! that's him and his daughter(s)!
(parenthisization= happy tenth anniversary teena and geoff! can you believe it? dating for ten years!)
(below) geoff's birthday yielded interesting presents.

as of yet I don't think he's polished anything. ha ha ha. oh gosh that's a good one.

okay, so back to madison, back to the garden. a few weeks ago I ripped up everything in the plot and put it into piles. surprisingly stuff grew in those piles...

a baby rodent! that was what was growing in the dead plants.

his first portraits

wow that is tiny. so we found the nest, put this little fellow back with his brothers and sisters, and placed protective tomato cages around their home.
ummmm, this is what it looks like at the garden now.

errr, dinner

applesauce!

eleven jars!

I enjoy the pictures of the people. I would like to request more Regan and Greg pictures in future blogs. I would also like to request adorable pictures of animals!
