hopeful month

it's march! can you tell?
sure it's not so different from february, except maybe there's a bit more snow on the ground...
i don't know... what do you think?

march.

february.

and yet... what a difference. it's so hard to appreciate february sometimes, but march has something to it that we can't help but being drawn to. it offers so much hope. even if it doesn't deliver... we can't help but believe it will. march is the politician who gets by on looks and a name. february is the short hardworker that no one wants to listen to because it tells the truth ...and the truth is cold and colorless.
so... i vote for march... because there's at least a chance that it will make good on all of its promises... that in one of these next 29 days or so, it will be sunny... and a little green... and a bit warmer than it was last month.

speaking of february, it was just last week that we (well, mostly greg) painted the bathroom and our room. i was going to show you pictures of the bathroom but it's so undecorated that i'd rather wait awhile... so here's a peek instead...

our room... also completely lacking in any kind of decoration, is at least suitable for a picture or two...

and actually, right after taking these pictures we put a blueberry wreath on the wall... but... as cool as that sounds... it's really not so exciting... maybe i'll exhibit it later on at some point.
until then... enjoy march or, (if you happen to live in wisconsin) enjoy the concept of it.
