i'm not going to complain that we're going to get 6 to 12 inches of snow between now and tomorrow. after all, it's only april. and this is wisconsin.
unfortunately, the garlics, onions, and chives didn't know this when they started sprouting about a month ago... or did they? this is our first year with sprouts that have had to endure the return of winter. maybe they don't care about a heavy snowstorm. they seem to be doing OK with the nighttime freezes... but we decided to step in regardless...

Snow, I can't believe that!! stay warm. I miss Madtown, but not the weather...
How much did you guys get? We have a couple of inches, and apparently it's going to last until tomorrow!
kit nat: what is the temperature in southern illinois... not that i really want to know.
steph: i'm not sure how many inches we've had but it's still snowing and it was snowing around 2 a.m. when i woke up last night, but at least on the roads it's not sticking, just melting.

It is around 60 here, but it won't stay warm that long and we are getting rain.
60! now that i've waited a few days to respond, it's now in the 50's here w/ no more snow! woot!
