an update! beware... lots of cute pictures

well, as you all may have suspected, william is officially a happy-go-lucky five month old, as of 6 days ago.

and he has officially traveled in the car on a long voyage to...


....hang out with his mom at the university of illinois...

and meet his cousin stewart... just slightly his senior...

and pet a horse for the first time while his great (a.k.a. wonderful) aunt holds him....

and have lots of fun with his dad (as always)...

and visit with his great (a.k.a. ancient... oh i kid) uncle....

and hang out with his great (a.k.a. terrifically spectacular) grandpa...

and sit in a swing at the park in a baseball suit...

in other news...

he also takes baths...

and bounces like a mad man after we got him a johnny jump up...

sometimes he is even tired and snuggly in footy pajamas...

oh, and i could not resist getting him an old pair of blue converse all stars, because i had such a pair in high school. of course they are too big for him now, but he's not quite to the point yet where he can escape his mom dressing him up in clown shoes, snapping photos of it, and posting them on the internet. sorry will.
