pantry roost

up now: the pantry. i couldn't capture it as well as i'd like to, but if you want the in-person effect, you will have to visit. visits will also force us to unpack more quickly. i'm starting to wonder if we're going to open up those boxes fifty years from now and say, "hey! remember this?! i wonder how much an antique store would give us for it..." it's sort of a shame that winter and school(s) have to continue on as if we don't have much unpacking to do.

anyhow, we are quickly getting used to the new place. especially now that the rooster clock is up and running. (somehow it made it out from the depths of the basement... or perhaps it was fortunate enough to never get lost down there in the first place.)

You guys aren't afraid of color and I love that!!!! I feel as though I'm being a bit tortured by only a few pictures here and there. You really know how to keep a girl in suspense. I don't know what I'm more excited about....updates on the blog or the next episode of Grey's Anatomy! It's a toss up!

steph,

sorry about sectioning off the pictures for different days, but if you were able to see them all at once, really, you wouldn't have anything to look forward to at work! so i have to do it this way. and, this way i can clean one portion of the house and not worry about the rest! just kidding...
i can't believe i might beat out grey's anatomy! i've never watched that show but i hear it's popular! maybe someday veralouie will win a bloggy.

Hey kids!
I want to visit!!! As long as you don't make me work in the dirt again.
Just kidding.
I love your place! I saw the colors spilled on Geoff's jeans when he came home from painting, but it just didn't do them justice!

Wow! I really like the colors so far. Looks like a great kitchen too.
